Then stop in to the Fourth Street Artists Gallery on Saturday, December 10th for Reflections: The Music and Memories of Christmas. This free event features original stories from local writers and holiday music sure to lift your spirit. You might even want to sing along.
All performers, including the professional musicians, are members of Mid Michigan Writers, which meets at the West Branch Library.
Keyboardist, singer and songwriter Lenore Troia is known for the songs she penned during her long run in Key West, Florida. Her forty-year career spanned the US and Europe, culminating in a collection of CD’s and an award-winning MTV video. She will perform her original holiday classic Mistletoe Magic from her holiday CD.
Sandy and Mike Salsbury perform as Paraclete Productions. A lifelong music educator, Sandy is currently the director of the Northern Blend Chorus of Sweet Adelines, International, in Ogemaw County. Mike is a musical theatre performer, having played in professional shows at Sight and Sound Theatres in both Lancaster, PA, and Branson, MO, The Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN, the A. D. Players in Houston, TX, and the Croswell Opera House in Adrian, MI.
Between musical selections, a cadre of seasoned writers will read a variety of enjoyable and touching holiday-themed stories.
